Inspection Associate
PCAInc. was founded in 1998 in Orlando, Florida. We provide boutique engineering services for our banking and real estate partners throughout the Southeast United States.
PCAInc. is expanding its service available throughout the Southeast United States. An increased demand for our services are needed throughout our existing and planned areas of operation. As such, we are looking for skilled property inspectors to partner with us and provide the highest level of quality assessment for our lending partners.
We are looking for a seasoned hand who is eager to get out in the field and represent the interests of our clients to ensure that their construction and assessment needs are serviced with the highest level of responsiveness and quality.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Make site visits to commercial sites to perform Property Condition Assessments and provide a written report with photographic documentation
- Schedule monthly site visits to commercial and residential construction job sites to provide oversight and make funding recommendations based on value-in-place construction progress construction and prepare a written report with photographic documentation.
- Coordinate with owners and contractors to ensure necessary documentation is available to produce a complete report.
- Be able to timely communicate any concerns about open jobs to related stakeholders so that issues can be handled in a manner that allows us to meet strict deadlines to our clients.
- Produce comprehensive and detailed reports of building or construction status of properties upwards of 40 million USD in value.
Qualifications
- Engineering or architect background preferred.
- Minimum two years of construction inspection experience or five years of commercial construction experience.
- Legally permitted to operate a motor vehicle with active insurance and a clean driving record. Your personal vehicle will be required to make site visits and you will be reimbursed appropriately for mileage.
- Able to work from home on a 1099 contractor basis, at least initially.
